about me
Hi, I’m Lynn, an artist and educator with a passion for collage and creative expression. I find joy in layering shapes, color, texture, and meaning to create work that invites reflection and curiosity. Alongside my art practice, I teach language and explore the intersections of communication, culture, and creativity.
My collage process feels like a conversation—one piece responds to another, each decision shaped by what came before. I begin by committing to that first piece, sometimes not knowing where it will lead, and then follow the thread, reacting, revising, and sometimes stumbling into unexpected beauty. This practice mirrors life: we rarely have all the pieces in place before we start. It’s about embracing uncertainty, trusting the process, and transforming overlooked materials—fragile, insignificant scraps—into something whole and resonant. My work lives in relation, not in isolation, and each piece carries traces of what surrounds it, much like we do.
